Direction
Take Ritalin exactly as it was prescribed for you. Do not take the medication in larger amounts, or take it for longer than recommended by your doctor. Follow the directions on your prescription label. Take Ritalin at least 30 minutes before a meal. The extended-release forms of methylphenidate (Ritalin-SR) can be taken with or without food. The chewable tablet must be chewed before you swallow it.Side Effect
Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.Stop taking Ritalin and call your doctor at once if you have any of these serious side effects:
* fast, pounding, or uneven heartbeats;
* feeling like you might pass out;
* fever, sore throat, and headache with a severe blistering, peeling, and red skin rash;

Less serious Ritalin side effects may include:
* stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite;
* vision problems, dizziness, mild headache;
* sweating, mild skin rash;
* numbness, tingling, or cold feeling in your hands or feet;
* nervous feeling, sleep problems (insomnia); or
* weight loss.
This is not a complete list of side effects and others may occur. Tell your doctor about any unusual or bothersome side effect.
Precaution
Do not use Ritalin if you have used an MAO inhibitor such as isocarboxazid (Marplan), tranylcypromine (Parnate), phenelzine (Nardil), rasagiline (Azilect), or selegiline (Eldepryl, Emsam) within the past 14 days. Serious, life-threatening side effects can occur if you use Ritalin before the MAO inhibitor has cleared from your body. Do not use Ritalin if you are allergic to methylphenidate or if you have glaucoma, overactive thyroid, severe high blood pressure, tics or Tourette's syndrome, angina, heart failure, heart rhythm disorder, recent heart attack, a hereditary condition such as fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption, or sucrase-isomaltase deficiency, or severe anxiety, tension, or agitation. Ritalin may be habit-forming and should be used only by the person it was prescribed for.Ritalin should never be shared with another person, especially someone who has a history of drug abuse or addiction. Keep the medication in a secure place where others cannot get to it. Ritalin can cause side effects that may impair your vision or reactions.
Adderall is used primarily to treat attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder and narcolepsy.
Direction
Never take more Adderall than your doctor has prescribed. Do not take it for a longer time or for any other purpose than prescribed.Take the first dose upon awakening. If additional doses are prescribed, take them at intervals of 4 to 6 hours. Avoid late evening doses, which can interfere with sleep.
Adderall can be taken whole, or the contents can be sprinkled on applesauce. The applesauce should be eaten immediately, without chewing. Be sure to use the entire contents of the capsule.
* If you miss a dose...
If you are taking 1 dose a day, and at least 6 hours remain before bedtime, take the dose as soon as you remember. If you don't remember until the next day, skip the dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose.
If you are taking more than 1 dose a day, and you remember within an hour or so of the scheduled time, take the missed dose immediately. Otherwise, skip the dose and go back to your regular schedule. Never take 2 doses at once.

Side Effect

* you are taking furazolidone, guanadrel, guanethidine, or have taken a monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitor (eg, phenelzine) within the last 14 days
* you have severe hardening of the arteries; active heart or blood vessel disease; moderate, severe, or uncontrolled high blood pressure; high blood pressure in the lungs; anorexia; an overactive thyroid; glaucoma; or agitation, anxiety, or tension
* you have a history of alcohol or other substance abuse

Ambien is used to treat insomnia (sleeping disorders).

Take Ambien by mouth immediately before bedtime on an empty stomach or as directed. This medication is usually taken for short periods of 7 to 10 days. Take this exactly as prescribed. Do not increase the dose or take this for longer than prescribed.Side Effect

Rarely, this medicine may change heart rhythm, especially if taken with other medicines that can change the heart rhythm. This change in heart rhythm can result in serious, rarely fatal, irregular heartbeats. Ask your doctor for more information and if you should stop taking any of your other medicines to reduce the risk of this side effect. BEFORE YOU BEGIN TAKING ANY NEW MEDICINE, either prescription or over-the-counter, check with your doctor or pharmacist.
